Custom Error Pages in Cloud Hosting
If you purchase a Linux cloud hosting from us, you will be able to set custom error pages for your Internet sites quickly and easily, as this feature is a part of all of our solutions. After you have created the files and uploaded them to your hosting account, you can check out the Hosted Domains section of your Hepsia Control Panel and click on the Edit button for the specific domain or subdomain. In the pop-up which will be displayed, you will see drop-down menus for all four sorts of errors and for each of them you could choose an Apache default page, a generic page from our system or a custom made page. In case you pick the third option, you should just input the URL to the file that you have uploaded and save the change. Another way to set customized error pages is to create an .htaccess file inside the domain or subdomain folder and to add several lines of code in it. If you do not have preceding experience or if you're simply not sure how to do that, you can simply copy/paste the code from our Knowledge Base article on that topic.
Custom Error Pages in Semi-dedicated Hosting
When you host your Internet sites in a semi-dedicated server account with us, you may set custom error pages for each of them easily through our custom Hepsia hosting CP. With just a couple of clicks inside the Hosted Domains section, you are able to edit the default setting from a system page to a custom made one for each of the four error types. All you have to do is supply a link to every single file that you have uploaded before that and then save the change. If required, you'll be able to revert this customization at any time and in exactly the same way. If you'd like, you can use an .htaccess file as well. It must be created/uploaded in the domain or subdomain folder belonging to the site whose error pages you want to change and the content for this type of file can be found in our Help article on this matter.
