PhpPgAdmin is an efficient and multifunctional application that is used to manage PostgreSQL databases. It provides complete control of every database with user-friendly web interface, so that you won't have to employ a command line or the restricted interface of the script application which uses a specific database. Using phpPgAdmin, you will be able to import & export databases employing a number of formats - SQL, CSV, XML , etcetera, so you can migrate all your database-driven sites from one service provider to another with ease or you can just have a backup on your computer. In addition, you can create, delete and / or update individual cells or whole rows and tables from the database with a few clicks. The tool also provides the option to grant different permissions to different database users, so you are able to manage the level of access that others have.

phpPgAdmin in Cloud Hosting

We provide phpPgAdmin with all of our Linux cloud hosting and you'll be able to access it from the PostgreSQL area of your Hepsia Control Panel provided that you have created at least a single database. You'll see all of your databases indexed in alphabetical order in this area and on their right-hand side there is a compact phpPgAdmin button. When you click on the button for a given database, you'll be logged in automatically in a new tab of the web browser. If you want to log in manually, you are able to check out our direct phpPgAdmin login page and enter the database account information. This method can also be used in case another person, for example a graphic designer, needs to access a database inside your account. In this way, your files and emails will stay protected since nobody will be able to access them.

phpPgAdmin in Semi-dedicated Hosting

You can access and use phpPgAdmin to manage each database with just a few clicks in case you host your sites using a semi-dedicated server package from our company. When you go to the PostgreSQL section of our in-house made Hepsia Control Panel, you'll find a little phpPgAdmin button beside each and every database which you've created. Once you click on this button for a specific database, you'll be signed in automatically, so you will not be expected to enter any further login credentials. As you could employ the services of a web designer, however, we've also provided a possibility to access phpPgAdmin manually via a direct login page where the database username and password has to be entered. In this way, the designer won't be able to access your files or look at your personal contact information.
